Rainy days and blogs

Just now the rain is pouring down, evening has come and I am scratching the Bunny’s ears. It’s very peaceful… Today, I’ve been trying (once again) to set up a blogging account. I’ve been wanting to write a blog for quite some time now, years actually… but I’m just not computer savvy. So, every time I try to start a blog, I get stumped by the set up process, panic, become overwhelmed and eventually do my best Scarlet O’Hara and say, “I’ll think about it tomorrow”.

Scarlett O’Hara “I’ll think about it tomorrow”

The last time was approximately 2 years ago… Well, that’s the last time I attempted set up, since then I’ve thought about it and did my Scarlet O’Hara imitation again. Lol Over the weekend, I came across a wonderful blog by Brenda Pruitt called Cozy Little House. I absolutely love her blog! It’s truthful and real.

So many blogs are like the show 60 Minutes. They promise is teach you something but, by the end, you don’t know any more than you did when you started. Brenda’s blog is not like that. It’s a lovely blog about a woman and her pets, living life and enjoying it. You come away from her blog feeling that you’ve made a new friend. Some of her articles are interviews and at the end, you have learned something about the person that she is interviewing. I love that! Not to mention, Brenda is very sweet. I emailed her and very much enjoyed the email that I got as a reply.

I hope my blog will be like Brenda’s.  Truthful, real and sometimes informative. I hope you go away feeling like we are friends, not like you were cheated out of your time (which is how I always felt after watching 60 Minutes).
